Visit Malaysia

lost-world-of-tambun.jpg

In Malaysia, there are many water theme park established. Lost World of Tambun was located on Sunway City Ipoh, Perak. It was owned by Sunway Lagoon Water Park Sdn Bhd. This is one branch of sunway lagoon water theme park.

Direction to reach there:

Take the North-South Expressway and exit at ‘EXIT 139 (interchange for ipoh,Tg. Rambutan & Tambun drive)’. Drive along Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah utara then Jalan Tambun heading to sunway city Ipoh, and lost world of Tambun right after Giant Hypermarket.

The admission fee is : RM 22.90 for adult during my visit and right now its RM 19.90 and RM 17.90 for children during my visit and right now its RM 15.90 and for children below 90cm, the admissions is free. For me I think, the admission fee is quite expensive. It’s because right in there, you’ll need to rent the locker room to put your things and also you maybe need to rent things such as float/buoy. So the cost of money you’ll spend will increase. If they could lower the fee, it would be great.

Operation Hours is:

Weekdays (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday) 11am-6pm

Weekends, School & Public Holiday (Saturday & Sunday) 10am-6pm

CLOSED on Tuesday except public holidays

The main reason to be here is of course it water theme park.

lost-world-of-tambun-jungle-wave-pool.jpg

First one is jungle wave pool. It was built with wave and its look like beach suitable with its name, waterfall beach garden section.

lost-world-of-tambun-jungle-wave-pool-2.jpg

its suitable for all visitor because it depth is slowly increasing.

lost-world-of-tambun-kids-explorabay.jpg

For kids, lost world of tambun also provided Wet Park for them. So its suitable to bring your children here. Your kid would love it.

For those who love adventure during bathing, lost world of tambun provide facilities such as cliff racer & tube raiders.

lost-world-of-tambun-tube-raiders.jpg

lost-world-world-of-tambun-hot-springs.jpg

The second one is, Tambun Hot Spring. During my trip there, I am really cold after long period playing in jungle wave pool. So I went to tambun hot spring and the water is warm and its feel really great.

This is just some of picture for Water Park. Now, for Dry Park. Lots of interesting dry park facilities provided which are storm rider, dragon flight giddy galleon and perak parade.

lost-world-of-tambun-dragon-flights.jpg

I ride stormrider and damm, its so exciting. Definitely you have to ‘hold’ well to avoid wet.hihi

lost-world-of-tambun-stormrider.jpg

lost-world-of-tambun-cave-exploration.jpg

You also can experience cave exploration at lost world of tambun but I don’t have a chance to experience this one. But one thing is, this cave is seem to be like Indian temple and I don’t want to enter the temple.

the-lost-world-of-tambun-needle-of-tambun.jpg

If you want to relax your mind and have a fresh air, you should enjoy needle of tambun. You’ll ride the goose in the lake. While enjoying the beautiful scenery of lone-standing rock in a limestone valley. It would be great if you can spend some time with your love one here. i forgot aabout their operating hour but get more info from their official website.later I’ll give you.

lost-world-of-tambun-advanture-express.jpg

But before you spend some time or hang out at any of those places, you should ride this adventure express. This train will give you ride around lost world of tambun. You’ll will enjoy the beautiful scenery around this place plus get some idea from this place. It would help you to enjoy maximum satisfaction here.

Lost world of tambun provide lots of excitement and many good facility to be enjoyed by visitor. Other excitement here is tiger valley, sandy bay, beach activities, played beach volleyball, drift the longest adventure river of waves in Asia, even recreational activities such as lake kayaking, river cruise, camping and limestone trail.

After so much fun, comes hunger. Since no food are allowed to be brought in, the waves restaurant provided for visitor to enjoy the food and of course its more expensive. Lost world of tambun is worth to visit and with school break in closing in, this place will be suitable choice for you to spend you time with your family.

for more information visit lost world of tambun

p/s: lately i got lots of idea to write but somehow i did not write, damm why i am so lazy.what a waste. & i spend so much time editing those picture bcoz i’m not pro. that why i took some time to update my blog

penang-butterfly-farm-13.jpg

during my visit here, i didn’t know that Penang butterfly farm was the largest butterfly farm in the world (currently), and situated on an area of eight hectares (expanded from 1 hectares).however this will end soon because Britain is currently building the world largest butterfly farm that planned to open in stages between july 2009 and march 2011. click here for more information. lets forget about them and concentrate on ours.

penang-butterfly-farm.jpg

Penang butterfly farm, the first tropical butterfly farm ever set up in the world and was founded in 1986 by David Goh. it’s located in Teluk Bahang, Penang.

penang-butterfly-farm-8.jpg

At the last count, penang butterfly farm is santuary to an average of 4000 malaysian butterflies from 120 different species including rare and famous species like indian leaf (kallima paralekta), the endangered yellow birdwing (troides helena) and rajah brooke’s birdwing. here, u can see lots of tame butterfly flying freely and they may even perched on you. they did on me,hihi. Blending with beautiful scenery of lily pond, a rock garden, several artificial waterfalls and bubbling mud pool make the place more scenery and very naturally habitat for butterfly and other inmate there.

taman-rama-rama-penang.jpg

attraction to penang butterfly farm is it butterflies, frogs, scorpions, insects and also unique species of soft shell turtle all living in their naturally-like habitat.

penang-butterfly-farm-5.jpg

penang-butterfly-farm-12.jpg

the other attraction of penang butterfly farm is the existence of Malaysia’s biggest oil painting drawn by James Lau and recognized by Malaysian Guinness book of record. the picture scale is 20ft by 7ft and the picture is about Malaysian jungle scene. supposed, we cannot took a picture in their souvenir shop, but however i managed to took some pictures since there is no people there, hoho.

malaysia-biggest-painting.jpg

you also could learn and see most of the butterflies in the world in their gallery. At 10am and 3pm there are informative butterfly shows.here is some of i capture from their gallery

penang-butterfly-farm-6.jpg

if you dont have your own transport, you can take the Hin Bus no 93 (catch at lebuh chulia) run from georgetown all the way to teluk bahang. when the bus stop at teluk bahang, you have to walk 1KM to reach penang butterfly farm. owh not to forget,
